"The long fish, for the past twenty years, has been a great addition to all surfers quivers. The one common thing, almost all were lacking wasn’t speed, it was turning radius.

Then came the Frye 'Nozzle' design, which widened the outline all around; including the tail but the added high hip helped cure what was missing on the long fish designs of old. Now we had a board that caught waves with ease and was stable, loose and fast. This design is the missing link. 

Roy liked the design but wanted to change a few things to make it a little more user friendly. First he added a more modern rail contour that is a bit more forgiving and geared toward performance. He then blended the deep single concave and pulled in the nose and tail a touch. 

The result came out fantastic. The Slip Steam is made as a daily driver from 2’-10’ conditions. Its a board that can do anything and everything most surfers want at beaches, reefs and points.  Highly recommended."
