The Egg was pioneered by Skip Frye in 1968 when he wanted ore from his vee bottoms after the 1968 World Contest in Puerto Rico. Since then it has become a standard in every surfers quiver due to its easy to ride feel and excellent performance in any kind of waves. If there was only one design you could have, this would be it.
Roys features a tri-plane hull but can also be made in single concave and a venturi/bonzer style/ triple concave bottom. It features user friendly, blended 60/40 rails and is recommended as a tri-fin but can also be ridden with a single box set up and side bites."
